Overview
Kauren is most often used as a disruptive attacker. It has respectable defense stats, good survivability via its trait, and access to moves that deny the enemy damage via Willpower Drain and Stone Wall. However, Kauren can struggle with its Stamina, lowish Special Defense, and underwheling offensive coverage. Thankfully, it still manages to have a small but solid niche regardless of these drawbacks.

Description
(1.3 DUKE'S NOTES - WHAT'S THE POINT, KAUREN? YOU'RE TANKIER AND YOU HAVE ROAR, BUT FOR WHAT? RUN IT OVER WPD I GUESS.)
Kauren is a bit of a strange tem. It has some of the best defensive and long-game tools that Earths can get - Scavenger healing, Stone Wall, Psychosis, and Willpower Drain. But everything else around the tem is lackluster - only Stone Ball really makes the attacking cut, and being the last to move in the turn undercuts a lot of the value that Scavenger can provide your tem. As a result, Kauren can feel a little outclassed as an attacker by Garyo and Rhoulder.
Kauren finds its niche as a stamina control tem, using Mom's Lunch and Willpower Drain to force free turns for its team, and utilizing Stone Wall and Psychosis to gain long-term value from the immediate overexertion. This spread balances out the tem's bulk, making it a fairly reliable pivot with 447 HP and 209 in both defenses.
Kauren likes being beside tems that appreciate free turns, Stone Walls, and don't necessarily mind Mom's Lunch triggers. Big tanks like Tortenite and Yowlar fit the bill nicely.
